Pension Reform Bill Update

The Illinois Senate this week passed a union-backed pension reform bill on a 40-16 vote but the measure’s fate is uncertain in the Illinois House where that chamber had earlier passed its own plan to solve the state’s public employee pension crisis.

Governor’s Budget Message
